Cancelled and Rescheduled: Tinderella & the eight unique uses of Tinder

Cancelled and Rescheduled

Alas logistics have gotten the best of us and ‘Tinderella and the eight unique uses of Tinder’, presented by Theatre On Toast aka Alyce Fisher, will no longer feature as part of the Shepparton Festival 2024. Turns out the batteries in the Fairy Godmothers magic wand were not rechargeable and due to this mis-hap the wand is in need of some serious TLC. But have not fear, as we have been assured that Tinderella has ditched the glass slippers, popped on some work boots and is sorting out all the things behind the scenes and is bound to reschedule much sooner rather than later. While we navigate these unexpected changes, we’re committed to keeping the spirit of discovery and entertainment alive in our community.

Here’s what you need to know:

Rescheduling Details: The show was initially set for Sunday, 7 April 2024, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Smith and Willow, Murchison. We are currently working to identify a new date and venue later in the year to host this much-anticipated event. Stay tuned for updates!

A rollicking good time

By Alyce Fisher

‘Tinderella & the eight unique uses of Tinder’ is a one human show created and performed by former Goulburn Valley Gal, Alyce Fisher. It explores her real-life tales, investigates contemporary app dating culture and aims to empower everyone totake control of their own dating destiny. Tinderella is a comedy cabaret, is strongly influenced by Disney characters, features abespoke mockumentary film, an informative Ted Talk (or as we call it TIT Talk), audience interaction/participation, a magicwand and two life size condom costumes. Tinderella is a rollicking good time, super funny and has a whole lot of heart.

You can pre-order your dinner to enjoy at the show, and drinks will be available for purchase on the night.
