12pm – 1pm An intergenerational workshop with Shiro. Discover a creative and mindful way to express yourself using recycled and natural materials. Led by artist Shiro, this intergenerational workshop invites you to bring someone much older or younger than yourself—a grandparent, grandchild, mentor, or friend—to share in this unique experience together. Using sticks, leaves, and repurposed surfaces, you’ll create expressive portraits, bringing them to life with simple details like eyes and lips. Along the way, Shiro will guide you in exploring how our five senses shape our perception of the world, influence our emotions, and help us connect with others across generations. This is a sustainable and heartfelt way to create—without the need for expensive materials. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautiful handmade portrait and a new way to share your love and creativity, whether through gifts, personal reflection, or even as an alternative to a store-bought greeting card.
