Message In A Bottle: Imagining The Future Of Water

Do you wonder what the future of your region may look like?  Do you have concerns or ideas to share?

When we use our imagination to visit the future we discover new possibilities for the present.  Come and try out futures thinking activities to play with possibilities: those that are wicked, exciting, dangerous, delightful and everywhere inbetween.
Find a message in your imagined future and send it back in a bottle to share. You will have the opportunity to contribute acreation to the exhibition: The Museum of Future Water.

This workshop will involve an exploration of different representations of the future, a Water Futures game and other activities to stretch the imagination and create a piece of speculative art.  All welcome and no experience necessary.  Please note that this workshop is designed for adults, but children are welcome to accompany their parents/carers.

This event is part of a research project on futures thinking activities. More information will be provided before the event begins, and you can opt out at any time.  The ethical aspects of this research have been approved by the ANU Human Research Ethics Committee (Protocol 2023/1444).
