Dookie Arts invites you to take part in At Home in Perdita Street, a community-driven project that explores ideas of home, habitat, and our connection to nature. Nestled in a beautiful bushland pocket within the township of Dookie, Perdita Street provides the perfect setting to reflect on the relationship between art, environment, and place.
Together, we will create imaginative sculptural ‘homes’ for birds, animals, and insects—using natural materials found on-site. This hands-on experience blends creativity with sustainability, encouraging us to see the value of this space not only as a habitat for local wildlife but also as a place for artistic expression and recreation.
