We’d like to extend a warm invitation to join us for this special exhibition opening event, presented as part of Shepparton Festival 2024.

‘An Item of Connection’ is a series of portraits by Cam Matheson representing just some of the experiences and emotions felt by members of the Greater Shepparton Community during the 2022 Central Victorian Floods.
Subjects were asked to bring an object of their choice to be photographed with and sit for a short interview.
The exhibition is intended as not only a record of some of the stories that are so often overlooked in regional communities, but also provide an opportunity for conversation, recognition and validation that is such an essential part of disaster recovery.
