Artist Reese Truscott presents a solo exhibition featuring his latest body of works developed using meditative practices. Combining mathematical patterns, visual design and ultraviolet reactive mediums, these pieces linger in an otherworldly state that summon the viewer inwards towards harmonic peace.
Much like meditation opens the consciousness to self understanding, these repetitive processes reveal layers of structure that become apparent through the commitment of time and connection with each piece. Displayed in a darkened UV environment, geometric shapes glow with a powerful vibrancy that is playful and ethereal. The spiral and tunnel, which are major exploratory themes in this exhibition represent the existential fabric of time, with no beginning or end, one may travel the spiral infinitely, metaphorically parallelling this with our very tangible gift of present time and life journeys.
