C2C Terms and Conditions

The promoter of this competition is Shepparton Arts Festival Inc ( INC ASSOC. A0031386Z)).

Entry is open to Australian residents currently living in the Goulburn Valley to design the branding (e.g. poster, guide) for the 2024 festival. 

Closing date: Monday 6th March 2023 11:59pm AEST 

Only 1 entry will be accepted per person. 

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

Artwork submitted must be solely the work of the artist and shall be reprinted by Shepparton Festival. All ownership of the artwork will remain that of the artist. 

The finalist will be chosen at the discretion of the Shepparton Festival committee. This decision is final and binding. As such, correspondence will be entered to congratulate and confirm the artwork to be used for the 2024 branding and will also be printed for our public exhibition.  

Employees of SF or their immediate family members shall not be permitted to enter the competition 

There is no entry fee or purchase necessary to enter the competition 

Entries will be accepted via our online form and must be received by the closing date to be considered as a valid entry. Submissions received after this time shall not be accepted. Shepparton Festival holds no responsibility to entries that are not received for whatever reason. If the work created can not be uploaded in a file format, we ask the creator take a photo of the work produced and send through, the Shepparton Festival team will be in touch to arrange viewing in person. 

The winner of the competition will receive $1000 from Shepparton Festival. Shepparton Festival will notify the winner of this competition about how the prize money can be collected. 

The winner will be given the opportunity to work closely with Shepparton Festivals graphic design team to create the promotional material for the 2024 Shepparton Festival based on their submitted artwork. 

The winner’s work will be used as inspiration for our marketing and design work for the 2024 Festival. It may be repurposed to generate promotional material. 

The winner’s work will be promoted and celebrated on all of our social media platforms. 

The winner will be asked to engage in a media celebration and be available for interviews. 

The winner will be invited to our 2024 Festival launch, opening event and AGM. 

The winner of this competition will be announced by 2nd April 2023 and shall be notified prior to the announcement. 

Shepparton Festival reserves the right to cancel this competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 

Shepparton Festival shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social network. 

As a part of this competition, Shepparton Festival will collect entrants’ personal information, not limited to name, age, and contact details. 

For the purpose of public statements or announcements, Shepparton Festival may publish the name, and/or images of the winner and/or artists. 

The Shepparton Festival does not support cultural appropriation.
