Sebastian-Jon Mathieson is a Melbourne-based singer and actor raised in Shepparton, Victoria, where he has performed in various theatre companies for most of his life.
Sebastian completed his Bachelor of Performing Arts at Federation University in Ballarat, where in his final year, he was cast as Eddie, the leading male role in Made in Dagenham. Sebastian was involved with Initial Stages Theatre Company for almost fifteen years and, during that time, played such notable roles as Mr Banks in Mary Poppins, the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz and Julian Marsh in 42nd Street, in which he won a Georgie Award.
Sebastian is known for singing jazz, blues, contemporary and rock but got his start through musical theatre, which he continues to perform to this day.
