Feifei Liao was born and raised in China, currently based in Melbourne. She is a multidisciplinary lived-experience creative producer and founder of ‘Feifei Curiosity.’ She is a contemporary dancer grounded in Butoh and trance. By applying a poetic, abstract and often metaphorical language, she evokes audiences to dive into a mesmerising world to explore meaningful moments and memories involving engaging with daily life objects, discovering potential meanings of life and multifaceted self-existence. Her works often focus on transporting individuals between time and space, negotiating dimensional relativity to allow embarking on personalised journeys.
