Chloe Jones is a young, emerging Yorta- Yorta artist with strong ties to communities in both Shepparton and Melbourne. Chloe is a proud Aboriginal woman and expresses herself through painting using acrylic, ochre and watercolour and digital art. Her artwork incorporates her culture’s sacred ancestral creation stories and design elements that best represent her connection to community, country, and family. She is passionate about the arts and actively supports and engages with Indigenous youth culture and art.
In 2019, Chloe started her own small business ‘Dungala Creations’ and has developed a line of merchandise featuring her designs. Her artwork has also featured in group shows at Kaiela Arts and as an artist member has participated in community projects, including the Winton Wetlands Art Trail. Commissions include the William Cooper Institute of Monash University. Chloe is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Monash University and is currently employed in the arts at D’Lan Contemporary gallery in Melbourne.
