When attending any events during the 2021 Shepparton Festival we kindly ask that:

  • You check-in using the provided QR code for the venue or location you attend;

  • You practice physical distancing and good hygiene;
  • If you are unwell or have cold or flu-like symptoms, please stay home and get tested

When planning the 2021 Shepparton Festival our focus will firmly be on how to bring art and momentous events safely to the public while ensuring their wellbeing as well as that of artists, volunteers, and staff.

In the lead up to our 2021 festival, we will continue to develop our COVID plans, policies and staff training modules that will be informed by the directions of the Chief Health Officer. In developing these documents considerations will include (but are not limited to):

  • Continuous assessment of risk based on Government advice
  • Regulatory and industry practice
  • Staff and volunteer training
  • Social distancing and venue spaces
  • Outdoor versus indoor
  • Management of interaction points between individuals (e.g. ticket handling)
  • Infection control (cleaning and hygiene, food and drink service, PPE)
  • Contact tracing
  • Communication to stakeholders
  • Alternative delivery modes (e.g. online, radio, video)
  • Postponing/cancelling events
